The Better Futures Initiative (BFI) is a movement of students, engineers, and creators who refuse to wait for institutions, governments, or “the system” to fix the world. We design solutions, build real projects, and develop the skills to reshape reality — now, not “one day.”
Imagine the best version of civilisation you can. Smarter cities. Cleaner energy. Saner laws. Stronger mental health systems. Education that actually teaches you how to build. Good — now stop imagining it and start engineering it.
Everyone in BFI is here for a reason. We’re building an organisation with real standards, responsibilities, output, and accountability.
We are documenting every part of building a robotic arm: CAD, mechanics, control theory, electronics, firmware, kinematics, motion planning, vision. We’re tearing it down so someone in high school can follow it, even if they’ve never touched code.
If you're serious about building, you’re welcome. We’re looking for people who want to design, to prototype, to solve, to push.
